Tijdens SAIL 2025 opent NDSM FUSE de blauwe deuren van de NDSM Loods voor Art Sails NDSM: Kunst op de Werf. Vier dagen lang een meeslepende kunstbeleving met installaties, performances en workshops rond het thema: koers zetten naar een duurzame en zachtere wereld.

Maya: Between the River and the Self

Maya is born from a confluence of stories: a courageous human rights activist floating weightless amidst turmoil, my favourite song Proud Mary, where Tina Turner sings about rolling down the river, and my own unfolding transformation as a human, woman and artist. It is an image of surrender and strength, of trusting the current when the shore no longer fits. In the quiet of that drift lies the moment of becoming.

Unhurried, unafraid, drifting with no resistance. In this quiet surrender, memory softens into the water, and a boundless horizon calls beyond the waves.
